Belgravia Apparel’s (formerly Bizwear) journey to supplying Safety Jogger’s signature protective footwear to the Australian market began back in 2015. Today, we’re in our fourth year of partnership with this iconic brand.
From discovery to partnership
The Belgravia Apparel team first became aware of Safety Jogger’s brand while on a business trip to the USA in 2015. At the time, Belgravia Apparel supplied uniforms to South Eastern Grocers, the fifth-largest supermarket business in the USA.
Interested in how Safety Jogger’s range of hard-wearing, high quality safety footwear could reduce workplace injuries for one of our leading national retail clients, the team began a discussion with Cortina, the family business behind Safety Jogger.
Safety Jogger ticked all the boxes for Belgravia Apparel; a safety footwear brand that complied with Australian standards, offered a stock service catalogue with readily available stock to ship, and a competitive price point.
Seamless distribution and innovation
After a successful tender process with our leading national retail client, Belgravia Apparel selected eight styles from the Safety Jogger catalogue as core styles to be available to team members through the Belgravia Apparel Online Ordering Platform. Client team members who are entitled to access the safety footwear program can place orders – a process managed by Belgravia Apparel’s data file mapping of the client’s employee database.
To ensure a seamless fit, Belgravia Apparel and Safety Jogger issued a foot measurement device to all client stores at the commencement of the contract. This initiative has resulted in an extremely low percentage of product returns to date.
We are now in our fourth year of supplying the Safety Jogger brand and the performance of the footwear, the supply from Safety Jogger and the spirit of partnership has been faultless. We’re looking forward to the future, including trials of new Safety Jogger product innovations and offering Safety Jogger to more clients in Australia and New Zealand.
