You won’t easily miss the lifeguards this summer at Belgravia Leisure pools. For optimum safety and visibility, the new Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations released by the Royal Lifesaving Society of Australia recommend that lifeguard uniforms should be primarily red and yellow.
Belgravia Apparel’s (formerly Bizwear) solution
Bizwear took this brief to heart when we designed and manufactured Belgravia Leisure’s new lifeguard uniforms.
‘It’s important to acknowledge the key role that lifeguards play in keeping us safe in and around the water,’ says Trent O’Hara, Group Workplace Health and Safety Manager at Belgravia Leisure. ‘The new uniforms are bright, highly visible and conform to recommendations from the Royal Lifesaving Society, so we’re confident they will make our pools even safer this summer.’
Belgravia Group
When Belgravia Leisure looked for a uniform solution, they didn’t have to go far – both Belgravia Leisure and Belgravia Group are fully-owned subsidiaries of the Belgravia Group, a private group of companies owned by the Geoffrey Lord Family Trust.
Belgravia Group brings strategic direction and governance to Belgravia Group, a leading supplier of corporate apparel. The group’s extensive experience means they have the support, resources and financial capacity required to deliver uniform solutions at scale.
Belgravia Group’s expertise
‘With Belgravia Group’s expertise in designing and sourcing uniquely designed uniform solutions, it made sense for Belgravia Leisure to partner with us to produce their new lifeguard uniforms,’ says Mike Gluning, General Manager at Bizwear.
‘Look out for the new uniforms this summer in Belgravia Leisure pools, stay safe as you swim, and don’t forget to acknowledge the great job the lifeguards are doing to keep you and everyone else at the pool safe. With a little bit of help from Belgravia Group.’
